The Latest

Don got home just in time for church yesterday. It is nice to have him there, I feel so single without him. I enjoy Sundays when he is home.

Last night was the meteor shower, Don didn't think that I would be able to stay awake for the event - we took lawn chairs, blanket & snacks in the Trail Blazer, went out to Washoe Lake and set up, popped my trunk and folded the seats down and made a mini bed. It was so cozy and a bit chilly actually. I was unable to stick it out until the show got good, we left around 11pm, but we still have about 10 shooting stars. We got to spend family time together; it was cool, unique and best of all...free!!

Today was another busy day. Don called in sick - not that he was - he is pretty much sick of working so much. Brooklyn had piano first thing, then I had my Dr. appt. NEWS FLASH ***I AM NOT DIABETIC***
My fasting blood sugar came back at 90 and that was good, I spiked after my glucose drink up to like 160 - I ended at 60. I crashed big time. My tests say that I have hypoglycemia. Not a real big deal though, I just need to make sure I eat a protein with my carbs to help sustain my levels. Everything else was A-OK. The Dr. checked me, I am soft but closed, nothing to worry about. My V.vericose veins are swollen and there is not anything they can do now that I haven't been doing already. It does give me a valid reason to not do much at one time. I have to do things in spurts.
I am officially 31 weeks pregnant, but if you ask me I will tell you 32 - I only have 8 weeks left to go because of the c-section, so I bump it up a week! :)
I have only gained 11 pounds total as of this week. I may make my goal of only 15 pounds, we will see.
After the dr. appt we went to Costco for lunch...um samples. Yummy and free!
We updated our registry at Target where I had to pee ever 35 minutes! Ugh! Even Brooklyn was annoyed. Oh well.
Then to Lowes, we ordered our storage shed! This is exciting - once we get the storage shed up then we can clean out the garage, then we can clean out the baby's room and move the office stuff to the garage and then I can get the baby's room together! YEAH!!!
Only 8 weeks from today is my C-section...CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE IT??

Oh yeah - I did have to make sure that the Dr. made one change in my chart, I had originally told her that we wouldn't be using a birth control after this baby as it was too hard to conceive. But..on second thought.....I wasn't 8 months pregnant when I told her that and all of the glorious side effect hadn't kicked in. I don't want to be that woman who doesn't think that she can get pregnant and then have them 14 months apart, that would not be good for anyone involved! She just laughed at me, which is her standard response to me.

Sorry, no pictures, it is better that way! :)

If you think that you don't need birth control, I'd like to introduce you to Lauri. :)

I can't wait to meet the new Stepro.
